Daily Routines – Reshape & Implement

The seasons have changed, time to reshape our day to day!

I’m excited to share with you that I have written my first book, it’s releasing next spring and I’ll share more about that next month. When gathering the content of the book, I was very intentional about sharing how reshaping my morning and evening routine has completely been a game changer for me. The purposeful routines have gradually reshaped areas of my life that were a struggle on a daily basis; like quality sleep, digestion, brain fog, and finding the time to create the life I wanted in all areas of my life. 

Fall is the perfect time of you to reshape certain areas of your life that are no longer serving you very well. I have learned that developing a routine and staying committed to it, can have a profound impact on your life. Routines help with time management; they take the guess work out of what you need to be doing daily and how you’re going to do it. A routine can be comforting and helps alleviate some of the anxious feelings that can creep in. The everyday practices end up building the life that you can visualize for yourself. 

Here are my routines – Morning & Evening  

MORNING 

Wake up at the same time every day 

Drink a liter of water 

Thinking a thought of gratitude 

Drink 8oz of warm lemon water 

Drink 8oz of green juice with no fruit 

Make my SuperGirl Coffee 

40 minutes of movement – training on-line or a nature hike

30-minute reading, prayer and meditation – set my intention for the day

EVENING 

Go to bed the same time every night 

Begin dimming lights around the home after dinner as the sun goes down

Drink a cup of my favorite team – a combo of fennel and licorice

Set out my workout clothes of the morning 

Have 4 oz of dark chocolate 

Have all the red and blue lights covered 

Settle into bed with by Chilipad and Sleep Crown 

Perhaps up to an hour of Netflix, read a book, or talk with my husband

Lights are off at the time I have on my schedule 

I’d love to hear about the routines that you have developed for your life. I love to have freedom and live life with a spirit of adventure, these routines help me stay consistent with the maintenance of me as a person, de-clutter my thoughts and allow for the adventures to happen whenever I feel the inspiration.
